Description 
ProKarma is currently seeking a Senior Mobile Designer to join our Digital Practice in Denver, CO!  The Mobile Designer will help with mobile app, mobile web, web, UX/UI design. The selected individual must be an advocate for what the user wants and expects from a product.  Understanding the digital space is key, don’t miniaturize, rethink the experience as it pertains to mobility and digital.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to drive user interaction through UX/UI design best practices and principals
  • An ability to design user interfaces that present data to end users in a manner that feels natural and clear
  • Create hi-fidelity comps, and responsive prototypes for both web-mobile and desktop
  • Translate low-fidelity mockups and high-level user acceptance criteria into hi-fidelity comps and detailed design criteria for development. Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off
  • Work with brand, creative, and technical project teams to define and document requirements, overall user experience vision on projects, and recommend strategically sound solutions to meet client’s business needs
  • Work with technical leads, creative leads, the project team, and the client to identify the client’s business requirements
  • Provide consultation to project teams on interaction approach, usability, and navigation
  • Lead & assist in making presentations to clients
  • Effectively present information in one-on-one and small to large group situations to clients
  • Stay current with core web and mobile development technology trends, capabilities, and limitations
  • Comfortable in a fast-pace environment, working across multiple teams & projects simultaneously
  • Analyze user needs and align with business objectives
  • Create journey maps wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, site maps, prototypes, and mockups/comps
  • Design intuitive and compelling interfaces optimized across devices including iOS and Android
  • Travel as needed, up to 30% (not consistent travel)

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years’ experience in UX/UI design, interaction design, or other related disciplines – sophisticated & refined UI design skills required
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience with appropriate tools including Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Invision, etc., as well as the entire Microsoft Office suite
  • At least 6 years of experience creating highly-detailed annotated wireframes, user flows, and process flows within complex mobile applications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Ability to solve complex interactions and demonstrate a high level of critical thinking skills
  • Ability to articulate and justify design decisions
  • Well versed in Human Interface Guidelines & Material Design
  • Solid understanding of interaction design principles
    Expertise in responsive web design, mobile app design
  • A comprehensive & exceptional portfolio that demonstrates intuitive and compelling designs
  • Self-starter with a track record of delivering quality work under deadlines
  • Extraordinary attention to details and craftsmanship
  • Humble but driven attitude, able to work with different personalities – across teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong background in consulting approaches and methodologies to influence and drive results across teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills, careful attention to detail, and ability to drive consensus
  • Excellent user experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly websites and customer-facing features
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working as part of an integrated Agile development team and knowledge of the Software Development Lifecyle (SDLC) Delivery model including best practices and methodologies

 
Preferred Qualifications

  • Conduct UX-related research, including stakeholder and user interviews
  • Working knowledge of front-ending coding (CSS, HTML, javascript)
